What your account keeps

Google verifies your identity. Fluent Me stores your Google account identifier, name and email, a secure sign-in session, and practice usage records. When recap saving is on, your account keeps the latest 20 compact recaps and their practice measurements. Phrases you choose to save are kept separately, up to 50. These records sync across signed-in devices.

Full transcripts, raw audio, video, waveform and pitch data are not saved in the Fluent Me learning database. A compact recap can include a short quote or phrase from your practice. Turning recap saving off affects future sessions; it does not delete earlier saved recaps. Existing browser-only records are uploaded only when you choose Import.

During a live practice

Your microphone audio, optional camera video and conversation are processed by Tavus and its video infrastructure, including Daily. The configured coach can use ElevenLabs voice synthesis. These providers have their own processing and retention terms. Clearing a recap or deleting a Fluent Me account does not automatically delete data independently held by those providers.

Your controls

Microphone access is requested when you begin a voice practice. Keyboard mode does not request a microphone. Camera access is optional. You can end a practice, remove saved recaps or phrases, export your learning, sign out, or delete your account from the account menu. Importing older browser data is optional. Account deletion removes your profile and stored learning. A hashed identity and today?s practice count remain until a subsequent sign-in cleans up past-day counters, so deleting an account cannot reset the daily allowance; it cannot undo information already submitted to a provider.

Using the beta

Fluent Me is an experimental English practice service operated by Daming Wu. Google sign-in is required. The beta currently allows a limited number of five-minute rooms per day; the allowance appears in your account, resets at midnight UTC and may change as capacity changes. Reconnecting into a new room uses another practice. There is no payment collection in this beta.

Your coach is AI and may make mistakes. Feedback and descriptive charts are learning aids, not certified language assessments or proof of ability. Use recordings and materials you have permission to share. Do not submit confidential information or use the service to impersonate another person. The service can be paused when capacity or provider availability requires it.
